Experiencing the lost ROMANCE in our society on so many levels, native New Yorker Laura Satzman creates to resurrect the authenticity of style and design that influenced her while growing up in 1980’s-90’s Manhattan, where the juxtaposition of grit and glamour was a thing of true beauty. We desire ROMANCE but it is proving to be harder and harder to find, whether it be in a person or a product.

While studying Art at Cornell University Laura made the decision to pursue fashion and had an impressive career as a handbag designer. Her design process always begins with a passion for music culture, greatly inspired by working closely with fashion legend/punk rocker Betsey Johnson and with pop music icon Gwen Stefani on their respective handbag brands. Since these experiences Laura has expanded her vision to clothing. A firm believer in quality, craftsmanship and sustainability, she designs using the the finest materials, and incorporates vintage pieces into the collection. Laura’s hope is that her customers will cherish their relationship with each piece, a ROMANCE that lives on.
